Hi,

my husband and I were trying to conceive for quite a while. My friend suggested herbalife. after 3 months of taking it we finally got pregnant. i am not saying it was due to herbalife but it definitely helped.

Now I am 9 weeks pregnant, I drink one shake a day for the nutritions. DONT take the multivitamin on top of your prenatal tabs, dont take fibrebond or drink herbalife teas- tehy are the source of caffeine. By all means have a shake a day but make sure you eat healthily, little and often. starving yourselve or have long breaks between meals may cause pregnancy diabetes. opt im for healthy snacks, carrots, fruits, or a pitta bread with peanut butter

You prick. Herbalife contains a large amount of Vitamin A, WHICH IS DANGEROUS TO UNBORN BABIES.

I came along this page and would like to share my experience . My daughter is a 100% Herbalife baby . I started to consume Herbalife shake 3times per day before meal since I'm pregnant . On my 1st trimester I get really bad nausea and no appetite . Herbalife save me and I trusted my coach that Herbalife is actually a daily supplement that gives u all the nutrition that you need for mother n baby . Guess what the whole pregnancy I gain 10kg in 10months which doctor said it's absolutely perfect and .. I went for natural labour .. I used only 6minutes to delivered a 3.5kg baby girl . She is a super happy baby and easy to take care off .. She is now 4 years old and less getting sick . Today I'm expecting again .. And again I ordered 2dozen of Herbalife shakes for my this pregnant journey But do bare in mind .. If you are pregnant , u only can take shake for Herbalife products , others is a Nono . And one more thing , Herbalife shake can use to loose weight , gain week , keep healthy , pregnancy supplement .. All are depends on how u take the products . For pregnant please take before meal and do not skip ur regular meal . Eat as full as u can .. Enjoy this wonderful journey

Ignore this. Herbalife coaches are just out there to sell the overpriced products SO THEY GET PAID. Herbalife products contain large amounts of vitamins that could easily lead to an overdose of Vitamin A from your normal food intake. Overdosing on vitiamin A that can harm unborn babies.

I used all the products during my pregnancy and after. I wrote a blog in detail about it. It was great for me!

Is the tea safe to drink while pregnant

Perhaps one other thing people should consider is the ridiculous cost of the products. Firstly you don't have to pay the price of the products. There are more cost effective alternatives out there. Secondly, an even better alternative is to replace your meals with.... healthy meals. Not some processed rubbish.

Probably not. Just eat normally and forget this herbalife rubbish. Your babies health is more important than your vanity.

As a dietitian who has studied human metabolism for years, I cannot even begin to condone taking supplements other than prenatal vitamins for pregnancy. No one can say if the herbal supplements are good or bad because you cannot isolate the variables and prove if they are the cause for good or bad pregnancies. There is too much environmental interference, too many genetic factors, too many food intake factors. I would recommend to eat a balance diet and take your prenatals as instructed by the OB/gyn. Anything else is too risky. Many of the ingredients in these supplements may seem harmless, but causing hypotension, hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, water/fluid loss, increased metabolism for fat burning (HELLLLO!!! you're pregnant! you need the extra calories!) is not a chance I would want to take with my baby. Obviously, every individual is different in the way they react to herbal supplements, but I would not be willing to risk being the one who has a bad outcome as a result.

I am a wellness coach, and I used the shakes throughout my entire pregnancy AND now that I've been nursing for 8 months. It's a great way to give your body (and baby) what it needs. Do you ever eat McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's... And so on? Think of that all of that food has in it as for chemicals and things that are bad for you. Doctors don't tell use when we are pregnant not to eat that stuff, so why is it wrong to have proper nutrition? As for the gestational diabetes, I also had it. And the Herbalife shakes are a great way to keep your levels where they should be and curb the cravings for the things that can harm you and your baby!
