I don't even know where to put this really, but how can you get rid of overwhelming thoughts? I haven't cut in awhile, but I'm really getting the urge too and I don't know how to stop that. I really don't want to, but I'm feeling like I might. I can't stop thinking about it and I don't know what to do anymore.

Okay, well it's said that once a person cut's them-self (even if its just once) they will never have the same thoughts about sharp objects. When they see a knife they think: Cut. But, really the only way to stop the thoughts is if you maybe (I guess) get a new habit! A good one though... Like: Cleaning, Computer, Writing and soo much more! Thats all I really got....  (;

Thank You. It wasn't that I was looking at an object and thinking about using it to cut, I was just having a difficult night and couldn't help but want to cut to feel better I guess. I didn't do it thankfully, I normally do turn to music or writing and stuff now, just that night it didn't seem to help much. It just sucks, I just wish I never thought about hurting myself, its just hard. But thank you!
