I could feel a tugging when the 3 stents were placed. Now afterwards I'm feeling like the stent don't want to be there and are fighting to get out LOL. It's very uncomfortable and gets worse as the day goes on. Is this normal?
Hi, guest.
After undergoing a procedure to have stents placed, it's not uncommon to experience some discomfort or strange sensations in the area where the stents were inserted. However, if you're feeling a sensation like the stents are "fighting to get out" and it's becoming increasingly uncomfortable as time goes on, it's important to reach out to your medical team that performed the procedure.
They will be best equipped to assess your specific situation, examine the stents, and determine if there are any issues that require attention. It's possible that you may be experiencing normal post-procedure discomfort, but it's always better to err on the side of caution and seek medical advice when you have concerns about your health or the results of a medical procedure.
When you had the procedure and when you started feeling uncomfortable?
