First of all never skip any meal. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you skip it then your metabolism slows down and you don't want that to happen if you are trying to lose weight. And yes stay away from the soda as much as possible. Good luck!

Listen in order to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you take in. Don't skip meals but cut back on snacks. What your portions too.
Keep moving , go to the gym , do whatever you need to do to burn more than u eat.

i know this is going to sound stupid but if u eat really healthy breakfast that is large, as well lunch (also u should eat dinner as well) the weight will SLOWLY came off.
i also have as much proteins and exercise a lot but u should just eat healthy and u'll see the charge
p.s. don't give up on the diet. u may still have baby fat so don't get upset if this doesn't work

Um, hello. I'm a 14 year old girl and I weigh over 180. I'm really upset about this because even though my friends say I'm not fat, my family does. They're kinda the reason why I have such low self esteem. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I can't really leave home and I hate exercising a lot. I do like to swim, play basketball, and do a little bit of stretching. But besides that I don't really work out. I have tried but it never really works and I also eat about four meals a day with little bit of snacks. I usually eat two meals though when I'm upset. Anyway, can anyone help me? I could really use some help. I'm tired of being called fat by my mom, dad, and brother. :(

i just wanted to put out there that all thos. Super skinny girls you you see the eat junk all today, you shouldn't be jealous of them. All the eat is c**p all day, and they are putting a lot of unhealthy chemicals into their body. You see, they are young and have hi metabolisms. So they eat c**p, and yes, they do stay skinny. But then their metabolism starjottings slow down because they don't excersies and the eat junk. So later in life, they will be the chubby ones.

some people say that those people are blessed to have a fast metabolism. I think that the blessed people are the people with slow metabolisms. Then they have to deal with weight and judgment now, but they develop good habits to fix that and then presto, it switches. And now, how to get there...

Dont listen to those people that tell you to do five hundred push-ups. This may be hard, but weight loss is 80% diet and only 20% excersise. Different things work for different people, but I do the paleo diet and its workingravest. What it is it eatinLethe least processed food you can, but no eating any grains, dairy, or sugar. Grains count wheat, so no bread product. No fruit juice either. I really like almond milk, the vanilla flavored but even that is processed so I only have that in moderation. oh and it you are older, no alcohol. Which is just sugar anyways. 

do not fear! There are cheats. I allmosey self cheats thin holidays and my birthday, but as often as you can without being too rude or picky or annoying, stick to the paleo. Other cheats include small things such as milk in coffee, or butter to cook with.

In another reply to my previous post, NEVER SKIP MEALS EVER, OR EAT TOO LITTLE! Not only is this unhealthy, but when your body gets hungry, it will go back to caveman times. And in caveman times, they didn't know when they would eat next. So their body would try to store the energy as well as It could. So if you don't eat a meal, or eat too little, your body will realize that you are starving and it will conserve your food in the form of fat. so you will not lose any weight healthily, you will actually just maintain the weight you have. A much faster way to lose weight is the paleo diet I was examining. I have lost 5 pounds in two weeks following that, and with moderate running/ cardio (pe) three times a week.

Im 13, 5'6 tall and i weigh 110. I want to loose some weight because i want to look hot like a Victoria's secret angel. I dont know what to do oh and i also love chocolate and i eat a lot of it so i also have a little acne. Please help me out in loseing weight and my acne!!!! In less than a month if possible.

I'm 12 I weigh 64 I'm tall so I don't really look fat but I feel fat and I don't like it what can I do to weigh at least 53 my boyfriend says he likes me like that but he's 14 and mascular any help??xx :)

Holy c**p! Your twelve and you are only 64? What's going to happen is that you are going to gain weight. In a good way. If you want to look better, work out and tone up with strength excersises and you will burn fat and build muscle. Muscle weighs twice as much as fat, so if you gain weight it's a good thing. The only way you can get down is with a deadly eating disorder. And don't you dare try starving yourself. when your body runs out of food, it goes into starvation mode and conserve fat and burn muscle instead. So if you starve yourself, you may weigh less because you are burning muscle, but then you are all fat.

Research show that stress can make you gain weight, yes you NEED to work out but don't stress yourself out too much. I play field hockey and is really good work out. About the food, keep your normal diet and cut down little a time. Suddenly cutting out on a food is not good for your body, and will not help your cut weight. The secret is cut out on bread, bread contain lots of Carbohydrate with puts on weight. Also don't eat bananas. A last try not to think about wight too much, feel good about yourself. no your not fat.... look im fifteen and 270 my friends love me and as much as i feel fat they dont let me think that even for a second htey make me feel beutiful all people should always feel beautiful eat your breakfest its just gonna make you look bad and dinner too not eating is an eating disorder and its not safe or good for you. ya know the pictures of african children how they look fat well thats because of malnutrition and thats what your not eating will get you. go after that soccer its fun try it and if not for you try something else

Seriously, hearing this from someone else really helps. I'm 14 and male. I'm 5'9 and I weigh 11 stone. All my friends wouldn't say anything but when they say it they can never quite look me in the eye. I'm definitely not the biggest person in my group. It kind of p*sses me off cos I do quite a lot of sport and my skinny friend eats tonnes of c**p and plays Xbox all day. Thanks a lot.

Not eating breakfast can cause weight gain. I am 12 too I used to skip breakfast I don't anymore I lost 2 pounds in a month (without additional excersize or diet)
