Hi, I live in Greensboro, NC. i'm going to have my hemoirrhoidectomy done in 2 days. I do have health ins and so far I have to pay out of my pocket $2900 for Facility (Wesley Long surgery center) , $945 for Surgeon, & about $1100 for anesthesia (I haven't got a bill for this yet).

Removing a thrombosis from a hemorrhoid is like popping a painful zit. The hemorrhoid is still there but the blood clot causing the thrombosis is gone. It will heal up and recur, because the hemorrhoid(the vessel) was never taken out. The only way the hemorrhoid will not come back is if you cut it out(surgery) or band it(nonsurgical).
