how soon after implantation can i take a pregnancy test

with my last pregnancy we had intercourse on Aug 1.  I started testing on day 6 after intercourse.  I got negatives until day 10 after intercourse.  We are trying again..i will start to test on day 6 again...but dont expect a positive until at least day 10 after intercourse.  Hope this helps

I have experienced it again. It lasted almost 3 days pink to brownish cooler and very light on the toilet paper.  Cramps can be somewhat painful but nothing major because it does not last long.  I will wait 4-6 days after I miss my period and I know it will be positive. You just have to be patience with the waiting game

Hi, i know this post is old but my period since i stopped breastfeeding has been every 41 day cycle, and then in december it came on a 31 day cycle. so i expected my period with a 31 day cycle and when it did not come a week later i went to the doctor and blood and urine were negetive. I have been feeling extremley tired and having frequent urination, on sunday january 20 i went to the bathroom and noticed a discharge with pink blood and then it never returned, from every thing that i read i already knew this was implantaion bleeding. with my first two children i had implantation bleeding but it was on two red dots when i wiped. today january 23, i tested this morning with fmu and got a bfp. I used first choice dollar store brand i have been pregant 4 times one ended in miscarriage and they have always confirmed pregnancy.

Hi....i had my implanon taken out two months ago....i had my period a week ago(atleast i think it was my period) but my period was irregular...the first day i had heavy bleeding and cramping....the second day i was only spotting and i threw up 3 times and the third day i was spotting as well and then it stopped...ive been having symptoms ever since then....sore breast...nausea...hot flashes....somethings i cant eat and the next minute im starving....ive been moody and im always tired.....i haven taken a test yet and headaches and feeling weak ....but im torn ....i think im pregnant..but i dont think im pregnant...if i am this will be my second child

Im also having a same condition as you... last week i have been spotting for 2 or 3 days. im due for menses tomorrow (30 JAN 2013). I did the hcg test (using blood sample ) today, but the result come back negative :(

some of my friends said its to early to do the test, but somehow i feel something is going on...
will try again next week if my period not show up....

this is my first time posting but after reading this I was wondering anyone mind sharing there experience with me...this is my question...my period is not due for another eight days,,,my fiancé and I are currently ttc...I just had bleeding that lasted for three days...it wasn't heavy, but enough that I wore a tampon...I wasn't sure if this was implantation bleeding because I have not experienced this before..the bleeding started as brown cm, then turned too a rusted color red, then bright, back to brown,,,now it's over..I wnet to get my blood drawn (which was first day of bleeding) and it was negative...the following day I took a first response hpt and it came back bfp...took another this morning with first morning urine, bfp....tested one more time (tmi...but with second morning urine) and it came back negative....any thoughts??? Am I testing to soon if this was implantation bleeding?

 

husband, 9 days is too soon have a positive preg test

I had my periods July and Aug. I was Irregular cycle from the start and a year before I got pregnant from my 1st baby I became regular and a year after my baby I became irregular again until now. I had my Cnd last JUne and. the problem is I am confused what is my status now. My last period start date is Aug 3-11. i had intercourse dated: Aug 17,18 and 22 up to date on unprotected sex and all are inside. I take 5 pregnancy test today Aug 26 and its all negative. but Im having this early signs of pregnancy like swollen feet, tender breast, always vomiting and urinate most of the times. is that mean that Im not pregnant and nothing to worry? my expected period is Sept 4.

I have a question I don't think many people have asked before. It may seem silly and sorry If it does but can continuing to have sex after conceiving early like before you miss your period and find out alter anything or jeopardise conceiving? I guess most people stop having sex after they think they ovulate. My husband and I continue to have sex until my period arrives. Could we conceive and mess the implantion of the egg up by continuing sex or will that not effect anything? Advice appreciated. I'm currently spotting light brown very light pink occasionally when wiping. Hoping its implantation bleeding but would still like to continue having sex incase its just ovulation bleeding. I'm on cd 25 and my period last month was 38 days and fluxuates.

Well for a healthcare worker you should know that many women are undergoing IVF and typically know within a day or two when implantation DOES happen

I'm 7 days late on my period and started implant bleeding yesterday but all the tests I've taken says negative. So guess I'll just wait it out till end of the month and retest it's so nerve racking not knowing

Maybe you can help me, six days after intercourse I thought I expirienced implantation bleeding, about. Two weeks ago I was supposed to get Ny period and nothing. Last wensday I had some spotting that lasted until last Saturday morning. Then nothing. I have taken about five tests and they all say negative. I have been nauseous, have some weird cravings, back ache and head ache, light cramping and Ive just been feeling weird. I have a feeling I'm pregnant but don't understand why it still wouldn't show up. Could it be something else or is it possible I have to wait longer for it to able to be detected in a home pregnancy test? I already talked to my ob and I have to wait until the 23rd to come in but I'm a smoker and a drinker and I would hats to do anything that could hurt a potential baby ... tia

Did you take it the day after implantation bleeding?

I feel exactly the same and that describes it perfectly like a anxious butterfly feeling I've been pregnant twice before it was the same and now I'm having it again in cycle day 19 so I think I may well be pregnant and sounds like you are too :)
