Hi just wondering how soon can you drink alcohol after a c-seciton delivery?
If you aren't breastfeeding, I'd suggest waiting until the incision site is closed completely (approximately 3-4 weeks). Therefore there is no risk of really bleeding by thinning of blood, also don't over due it, one or two would be more than enough.
Just wanted to comment that this was very helpful. I am only 10 days post c-section and was really wanting a drink but have decided to hold off a little longer.
Thanks! I am also 10 days post c section- I missed my 21 run while pregnant and my husband wanted to take me to a wine tasting bar to celebrate our little bundle of joy- so now I know I will give it just a little bit longer before we pop the cork! Thanks again!
