I would like to get better and improve my form. However I just don’t know how to do it. I mean I read so many articles with so many advices that I ended up totally confused. I am especially at a loss when it comes to the Weekly Training. I just don’t know how many times a week I should work out. Can you help me?
It depends on many factors, such as your current level of fitness and your goals. If you are a recreational athlete with a goal of maintaining your current level of fitness or working out to get some health benefits you don’t need to train nearly as frequent as more serious competitive athletes have to. So if the maintenance is your goal then 2-3 times a week would do. On the other hand if you see yourself winning some medals, then 4-5 times a week is a minimum…maybe even more.
