My dad is home now after having 8" of his colon removed and a colostomy bag placed. He was in the hospital 5 days. He has lost a lot of weight, looks pale, his face is sunken in and he passed a small amt. of blood yesturday from his rectum. He went to his surgeon yesturday where they drew blood. They think that he may have a hernia near the colostomy site.
He was supposed to have his cancer removed. What can we expect during his recovery time at home? My mom and I are scared.
