Any fade cream you recommend?
Get a raw onion slice place on boil with big bandaid to cover onion on boil leave overnight by morning it will start draining on its own
I just had a boil on my labia the size of a marble. I am prone to them, (STD free and regularly practice great hygeine), unfortunately. Warm compresses are your best friend, seriously. Apply them directly to the boil and let them work their magic, they speed up the process by days. It's important to keep the area clean, and don't go touching it, no matter how badly you want to. It WILL pop on it's own, it doesn't need any help from you. If when it pops it doesn't drain completely, that's okay, just keep applying warm compresses and keeping the area clean (and bandaged now) to prevent infection. I know they're particularly annoying, embarrassing, and some really hurt! I get them at least once every two months.
Currently fighting A huge boil/carbuncle on my Labia Majora. It's about the size of my thumb and I did the hot compress only once a day for 5 minutes with very hot towel (sat, sun, mon) and it popped and drained on its own on fourth day(tuesday morning). Saturday i noticed it at noon that it was forming and did not start hurting until Sunday. I also started my period Saturday noon, so I had no choice but to wear a pad. Thinking that wearing a pad a night and using a heating pad for cramping has allowed the head surface faster. However, after boil popped on its own, it still seems pretty big despite lots of puss and blood coming out and it also smelled bad. I'm cleaning after I go to wash room. I use 3% alcohol and use cotton swabs to dab all around my inner thighs instead of smearing. I also apply directly on opened hole and then place some neosporin pain relief cream. I bought a drawing salve but not sure if to apply on opening of the wound or just around it. For now I am putting around the boil. At Walmart I bought some Promex dietery supplements that are natural antibiotics and took the first two pills at evening the boil popped. I'm hoping the bump goes down. I clean and change gauze after I pee. I will be okay now right? The bump will go down on its own?

I realize this is an old post, but the advice is still there. I disagree with this. Reoccurring boils, pimple-like sores, or even a small amt of blisters before a period (menstrual cycle), & around your lady parts, is most likely herpes- not Staph. Either way, INSIST your Dr tests the liquid they drain, or go back & swab the sore again! That's the only way to be sure you are being treated properly & correctly. Trust me, even Staph is commonly misdiagnosed by doctors. And if it is Staph, only the lab can test the bacteria & report back what antibiotic/antibiotic cream will work for your Staph. I'm fed up with lazy doctors.
I had a boil that was infected, and when it busted 4 days ago, it is still bleeding and draining puss. Why is that?
