You people don't know what the heck you're doing. (excluding those current mothers who have children and are sustaining them well; as well as those who have made mistakes, but have learned) For those young girls who are pregnant, or are scared half to death because they think that they are pregnant; I suggest you do one thing: keep your eye on the father/partner. I have friends. Friends who tell me they are pregnant, and their hearts are filled with joy as they think of taking on the, "simple," task of raising one small child from newborn to 18. Guess what happens next to stomp all over their happy, little hopes and dreams? The fathers don't want to be involved in such a rigorous, daunting task, such as caring for another life.  They leave the mothers. Now guess what? The mothers are all alone with no money, no job, and no support. They have to drop out of high school in attempt to work somewhere to make at least a little profit. For you young girls that are pregnant: listen up. Do NOT go out and abort your child in the huge midst of anger, anguish, fear, etc., because I can guarantee that if you do, your life will be filled with grief and guilt. Sure it'll make things about 10x easier in the physical sense; you won't get judged; you won't have to drop out of school; and your parents don't have to hear a word about it. But how about the mental sense? Do you have any idea how much pain, grief, and guilt is associated with aborting a baby? Sure you might think, "If I get the baby aborted within a few weeks of my pregnancy, I'm not really killing a human! It's just tissue and other matter, right?" Wrong. An egg: from the moment of conception to death is a human being. Believe it or not, it's true. Things begin to develop as soon the egg is conceived. Now, as I was saying before. For you young girls that are pregnant: do not abort your baby. Give birth to it, then put it up for adoption if you still cannot financially care for this child. Better the child in the arms of someone aside from the birth mother, than never to be able to experience life at it's fullest because it never lived past a few weeks/months in the uterus. And for those who are if'y about the father of this child: if he doesn't help, he's not the one for you or your baby. If you make your parents understand the situation; I can (again) guarantee you that they will help in some way, shape, or form. Just remember: adoption is the best alternative to ending a life that is perfectly innocent and helpless. The baby didn't ask to be conceived; whether through intentional sex, or rape, the baby had no say about its conception. Don't take your fear, anger, anguish, etc. out on the baby by killing it. Let it take its first gasp of air; let it hold its breath underwater; let it taste s'mores over a nice, warm campfire. Be careful, please. Best of luck to everyone.

I'm 27 and I have been celibate for 2 years.  I lost my virginity at the age of 17 and was very lost and confused about sex and love just like every teenager. I never was promiscuous, just clinged to the one I was sexually active with. My childhood friend was diagnosed with Genital Herpes last Fall. I seen how hurt and confused she became. My father (52) was just diagnosed with A.I.D.S. last month. We had no clue he suffered from H.I.V. before but now it has hurdled over to something serious. I know you may love your partner, love yourself and practice safe sex. Your body is your Temple, you shouldn't allow anyone to cause any harm on you that you wouldn't do to yourself. As far as pregnancy, I also do not have any chiildren. Majority of my peers have at least 2. Don't get me wrong, children are a blessing! I've just have been very precautious. My mother pounded in my sister and I head not to become a teen mom, eventhough my sister don't have children either, her constant pestering is not the reason why I stuck to my guns. LOL. Women know your worth! If he truly loves you, he would wait and respect you. Take care of yourselves!!!!!

So me and my boyfriend were both virgins and we were just playing around in bed. Things got carried away and he accidentally put it in me and we had sex for about a minute without a condom. I've been on birth control for about a year. But I stopped for a month which was April. I started back the next month. This month in missed about a week of pills but took them to make it up. Also I've had unprotected sex and he ejaculated inside me. Lots of times. Now i stopped my birth control after I thought I cud be pregnant and I started my period six days early than my normal date. My period is not heavy at all slight cramps. I also drank alcohol last night. Does this seem like I should be worried or am I fine?
