Two methods of reckoning are used.

  1. Working from LMP and using 40 weeks pregnancy. This assumes a 28-day cycle, and often medics use that method when first assessing pregnancy.
  2. Working from Conception (fertilisation/OD) and using 38 weeks pregnancy.

That means that the baby's due date is the same, but the starting point (and the current length of pregnancy) is 2 weeks different.

  1. Working from probable LMP on 16th Jan:
    • Today is 23rd May. 18 weeks 1 day (127 days) ago was 16th Jan
    • 18th Apr. 13 weeks 1 day (92 days) ago was 16th Jan
    • 23rd Oct. 280 days (40 weeks) ago would be 16th Jan
  2. Working from Ovulation Day (fertilisation/conception) on 30th Jan:
    • 19th Feb. 30th Jan was 20 days ago (agreeing with Clearblue's 2-3 weeks)
    • 23rd Oct. 266 days (38 weeks) ago would be 30th Jan.

So you would likely have got pregnant from sperm entering your vagina between 15th-30th Jan. I hope this helps.

Correction. I mistyped! I should have typed:

"So you would likely have got pregnant from sperm entering your vagina between 25th-30th Jan."

A blighted ovum is a sort of miscarriage, and you may feel the loss, and you might go through a grieving process. If so, allow yourself the time and permission to do so. That might not occur immediately.

Guy A had sex once sep 23rd 2016
LMP was sep 27th-oct 2nd 2016
33 day cycle
Guy B had sex oct 15 & 16th 2016
Who's the father?

With LMP 27 Sept and a cycle of 33 days, your next period would have been due to start 30 Oct. That would indicate you probably ovulated 16th Oct and were fertile 11-16 Oct. That would suggest that Guy B is the father. Presumably, the baby is due about 9th July 2017.
Hope this helps.

On February 21st I came back from a family vacation. On Feb 24th I started back having sex with a guy who I've been talking to for over a year. We stopped having sex for months because he was not ready for commitment. I didn't want to suffer sexually so occasionally I gave in to sex from a guy from the past. My period lasted from Feb 21st - Feb 25th (When I had sex with guy #1 I thought my period had ended but he ended up having blood on him). I had sex with guy #1 March 3-5th every day and each time it was unprotected and he did ejaculate in me. On March 10th i had sex with guy #2 which was completely unplanned. Guy #2 was resting on top of me then immediately I told him immediately to get up and do not cum in me. He jumped up and grabbed a paper towel and made all the noises so while jacking himself off. I checked the paper towel and it was wet.

March 21st I took a test and found out I was pregnant. I'm attached to guy #1 and guy #2 I could never see a future with.

So you all know how they say to go by the ultrasound because it's more accurate? I just went to my doc this past Friday to ask if she went by my lmp or if she went by the measurement of the ultrasound...she went by my lmp. She said according to my ultrasound my due date would be the Dec 3rd meaning. I had to conceive on the 12th. Again, I had sex with Guy #2 on March the 10th and he pulled out and had sex with Guy #1 March 12 th at 3:45am ( I reread our text) and he ejaculated in me.
