Transvaginal scans are usually quite accurate, but from your cycle history of 31 days, it would suggest you conceived on 3 Feb. However, that would put your due date at 27 Oct. Nevertheless, your 1st scan date suggests conception on 14 Feb, probably by Guy #1. A paternity test should be conclusive.
You must learn from your dilemma how important faithfulness is! Why did you have that 'short hook-up' with Guy #2?
I think guy #1 is the likely father. His sperm would probably have arrived at the egg first (even if guy #2 did somehow release sperm in you). Guy #1 sounds as though he may be taking his responsibilities seriously.
My LMP was on 04/21/2017 lasting 4 days. I am between 29 to 30 day cycle. With this calculated online my most likely day to ovulate says the 7th.
I had sex with Guy A on 5th, 12th and 21st of May. I laid with Guy B on the 10th of May. I didn't get a positive pregnancy test until May 23rd ( vert faint line) 2 days after my period was supposed to come. Does a latr positive pregnancy test point more towards a specific guy?
On June 19th I went in for an early ultrasound that dated conception as 5/10/2017, putting me at 7 weeks 5 days.
On July 26th I went in for the Michel ( sorry if spelled wrong) screening that dated the baby at 13 weeks 2 days And conception date of 05/08/2017.
Firstly, who do you feel is more likely to be the father. Secondly, which ultrasound would be more accurate?
I'm praying for this to be Guy A's baby as we have been here for each other for years. He is very supportive and excited for the baby.
Please, anything helps.

The 29-30 day cycle suggests the earlier conception (pointing to Guy A). But how did you calculate that? Can you give your last 6 period-start-dates?
- "I had sex with Guy A ... I laid with Guy B" What is the significance of the terminology difference?
- Early transvaginal scans are reckoned to be the most accurate, but they may be a day or two out.
- Conception on 10 May could be either Guy A or B. Sperm can live in a woman's body for 6 days, so it is quite possible that sperm had been in your fallopian tubes since 5 May, and the earlier sperm would likely meet the egg first (Guy A). However, it depends on the health of the sperm. Or it could be that sperm from 5 May had died, and sperm from 10 May (Guy B) had free course.
- "we have been here for each other for years. He is very supportive" so what went wrong 10 May?
- 8 May conception sounds more likely, and would point to Guy A.
- Have you now been given a due date, and how was that assessed?
I hope this helps as a start
So I was on an IUD after my youngest son for 7 years. I replaced this IUD in February of 2017, but the doctors are assuming it fell out as they do not see it in any of the ultrasound scans since finding out I was pregnant.
I had regular periods that would either start on the 21st or 22nd of every month. I tracked my periods starting January, and below you will find my dates:
January 22- Period 4 days
February 22- 4 Days
March 21- 5 days
April 21- 4 days
In regards to my terminology I have been friends with benefits with Guy A. We haven't been exclusive in our relationship due to past relationships and for about 3 years stayed just as this. I did end up drinking on the 10th of May and slept with another person. Guy A has been supportive after knowing my relationship after my children and abuse I went through, he also had his own issues where we were able to agree to a friends with benefit than taking on a relationship hands down.
I have been given 2 due dates. The first one was 01/31/2017 due to the 7 week ultrasound. When going into the 13 week ultrasound they gave me the date of 01/29/2017. I am just curious which one would be considered more accurate.
Is there a way to pinpoint by cycle history on who the potential father is with this information? Also, is it normal to ovulate on Cycle day 19 or 20 with a 30 day cycle?
Thank you for that information.
- 22 Jan to 22 Feb = 31 days
- 22 Feb to 21 Mar = 27 days
- 21 Mar to 21 Apr = 31 days
That gives an average of 29⅔ days but a range of 27-31 days
It is not 'abnormal' for Ovulation Day to be on CD 19 or 20 with a 30-day cycle (but not the average 'normal'). The luteal phase is usually 14 days (but 10-16 is considered 'normal'), so you would usually expect to ovulate CD 16/17 with a 29/30-day cycle. But with a luteal phase of 11/12 days and a 30/31-day cycle length, OD could be CD 20 (10 May).
The likelihood is that Guy A is the father, but to be absolutely certain, a parternity test would be needed.
- "I had had two cycles in May" What were the start-dates of the 2 periods (a typical cycle is 28 days long)?
- I assume the doctor's estimate was based on a scan. Was it abdominal or transvaginal?
- If you ovulated 10th (conception day), then you probably had a 32-day cycle with a period due on 24th (test day).
- If you did conceive 9th/10th, then it could be either Guy (sperm can live up to 6 days). Any earlier, it is likely to be from sex on 5th or earlier.
- You didn't say what date you had sex before 5th.
