I am pregnant but I am not quite sure who the father is of my unborn child.

I just have a question in regards to if someone can be fertile within a year after having a heart pacer placed in etc... He has Congenital heart disease and we had a sexual encounter on May 10th.

I had sex only on the 5th prior to this with another guy and wanting to find out who is more likely the father out of the two sexual encounters.

My last period was on April 20th and cycles have been regular of 31 cycle. I just had an ultrasound that put's my due date as January 30th 2018. I am 21 weeks and 2 days.

Due date 30 Jan 2018 suggests conception on 9 May. So indicates sex on 10th was too late.
A cycle of 31 days suggests next period was due 21 May which would suggest ovulation 7 May. So the most likely cause is from sex on 5 May.

In regards to fertility. Can Congenital Heart disease cause infertility?

I know of no research that has proven Congenital Heart Disease causes infertility in males, although there have been some links between CHD and male infertility. It could be that the treatment for CHD affects fertility as also could other factors that might have caused the CHD. A heart attack could have an impact on fertility. Someone with CHD ought to have a fertility test.

Please help !!!! My last period start date was 20th of September. My cycle is usually 26-27 days long. I'm unsure if I had sex on the 23rd of September but I know other stuff happened I was very drunk and stupid. So let's say I did have sex the 23rd September what's the chances of becoming pregnant from this date ? With the days I should overlate? It all confuses me :( I have sex with my partner regular but the date of the 23rd would have been a one night stand please someone help :(

If your last period started 20 Sept, then with a 26-27 day cycle, 23 Sept would not likely be a fertile day, and you would likely have still been on your period (day 4). Ovulation would likely have been 2-3 Oct, giving a possible fertile time of 27 Sep to 3 Oct. Your next period would have been due to start 16-17 Oct.
So if you did have sex on 23 Sep, it is unlikely it would have led to pregnancy.
You didn't say what the 'other stuff was', but bear in mind penetrative sex is not the only way to get pregnant.

If you think you are pregnant, take a pregnancy test.

You haven't said how long your cycle usually is, or whether it is regular, or when you expected your next period to start.

1. If you always have a 28-day cycle, that would mean your period would have been due to start 1 November, and you probably ovulated 18 October. That would indicate fertile days 13-18 October. It may well be that your released egg was fertilised before you cheated on your boyfriend.
2. If your cycles are 27 days (or less), then 18th would not likely have been a fertile day.
3. If your cycles are 29 days (or more), then the whole of 18th is likely to have been a fertile day.
4. If your cycles are 28-30 days, the likelihood is the earlier sperm, if of good quality, would likely reach your egg first. However, if the earlier sperm were weak, and the ex's sperm were stronger, then it is possible the latter sperm could have fought past the earlier sperm and reached the egg first.

You didn't say what sex you had after 18th October.

Hi, nice to hear I'm not the only one in this situation. Please could i have some advise?
My last period was 16th Aug, i have been having regular sex with my partner for a year. I awfully cheated on him on 9th Sept. Working out from my period with the midwife I would be 12 weeks and 5 days. I went for a scan on 10th Nov and they said baby only measuring 10 weeks 2 days. Who is more likely to be the father please? I have another scan on 1st December. Me and my partner have been trying for a baby for around 7 months and i couldn't tell him I'd break his heart. Tia x

• Calculating pregnancy dates from LMP assumes a 28-day cycle with Ovulation Day mid-way. Gestation is then estimated at 40 weeks from LMP.
• Scans give the actual pregnancy time from conception (on OD) and gestation is then only reckoned as 38 weeks.
• Today = 13 Nov. 12 weeks 5 days = 89 days. LMP = 16 Aug. 13 Nov - 89 days = 16 Aug. Ovulation Date = 16 Aug + 14 days = 30 Aug (conception).
• Scan Date = 10 Nov. 10 weeks 2 days = 72 days. 10 Nov - 72 days = 30 Aug (conception)
• So there is no difference in the two calculations in your case. You obviously have a typical 28-day cycle. Your due date has probably been given as 23 May.
• It would appear from both assessments that you conceived on 30 August, 10 days before 9 Sept.

No two situations are identical. What exactly happened (and why) - with dates - and what was your period history? Keeping it to yourself might be worse than confessing and getting forgiveness. Your child's blood tests might give away parentage doubts, and future health issues (genetic problems) might be compromised with parental assumptions.
