Hi, thanks for this. I have been given my due date as 5th June so I am 14 weeks tomorrow. Which takes me to 29th Aug is this correct?
Thanks

No, it doesn't. The dates are now about a fortnight different. There is a conflict of data!

If the 1 December Scan has produced 5 June as a due date, then that is 13 days later than what I suggested you had been given from your first scan as 23 May (bullet point #5). You didn’t comment on that date

So how was the 5 June date calculated? How were 14 weeks assessed? What was 10 November scan’s due date? What is the usual length of your cycle (bullet point #1)?

If the baby is due 5 June, it takes you back 38 weeks to 12 Sept conception, but that would be only 12 weeks pregnant on 5 December.

I didnt get a due date given on my first scan as the baby was too small!
Also i dont understand what you mean as to how has my due date been calculated? Its been calculated from the size on the baby.

14 weeks ago from tomorrow is 29th Aug.

Also 40 weeks from 5th July is 29th Aug

Usually, a date is given early on. A transvaginal scan is usually accurate.
I know that "14 weeks ago from tomorrow is 29th Aug", so if you are 14 weeks pregnant, then that would suggest conception at 29 August, but 38 weeks from 29 August takes you to 22 May, not 5 June!

"Also 40 weeks from 5th July is 29th Aug" - well, from 5th June. But the '40 weeks' is from an assumed LMP. So the due date of 5 June suggests an LMP of 29 August, not conception on 29th August. It assumes ovulation in the middle of a 28-day cycle.

How accurate is a first trimester ultrasound with using transvaginal ultrasound? I was dated at 7 weeks 5 days. Can this be off and if so by how many days?

A transvaginal scan is reckoned to be accurate to within a few days.

So it can easily be off by 3 days? Is there any way to ovulate on day 23 of a 32 day cycle?

Thank you also!!

Yes, scan dates can be off by 3 days.
With a 32-day cycle, you would not ovulate on Cycle Day 23 (CD23). You would likely ovulate on CD19 and probably be fertile CD14-CD19.

Okay guys i am back. My son is now 5 weeks old. I was in the same situation as most. My advice is if you’re freaking out follow your gut feeling. Whoever u strongly think the baby daddy is, it’s most likely them. My son cam out looking just like guy #1, the guy i thought was most likely the father. Guy #2 who pulled out is defiantly not the father. It’ll get better, don’t stress it!

What happened I'm in a similar situation. I hope you kept your sweet little one?

I have a question for you and not sure if you will be back on. Was first initial ultrasound early, and if so how early. I'm in the same position and due next month and feel strong about who I think the dad is but my ultrasounds point to the other guy in question.
Curious if you remember by any chance when you got your positive pregnancy test. If that was when your period was due.
I hope you still get on! Congrats on your baby!!

I just had a positive hpt (faint) on November 23rd with a clearblue rapid and dollar store test. I have not yet had an ultrasound but I'm scheduled this week to be seen. I would like to know in your own opinion what time frame of ovulation dates could a pregnancy test be positive on the 23rd. Tried testing prior to this date but up to were negative.
My last menstrual period was on October 21, 2017 lasting about 4 days. I average at most 30 day cycle for the past 3 months.
With information given and positive test, in your opinion what date would you say I likely conceived.
