I read the article on this website about being "skinny fat". It's where you have no physical fat, but you are still unhealthy. It describes them as having no definition, no real arm muscle, and maybe a little fat on their stomache. This almost perfectly describes me, sadly.
I am 15, and my family is east indian, so I eat ethnic, oriental food such as lamb curry, etc. But, my family is pretty westernized so it's not exclusive to me.
I just wanted to know if anybody had any ideas on how I could improve my diet and my exercise regime; ie. a good shopping list that would benefit my whole family and a few recipes and such.
But most importantly, I'd like to figure out a steady workout for my body to build up abs and strong arms as well as other parts of my body.
I used to use this video on youtube, 8 minute abs and I used to use the 8 minute arms in the same series (with 5lb dumbells). Would that series of videos be adequate?
Thanks for any help you give.
