I am trying to have another baby but this time its taking awhile ... i have been off birthcontrol for 3months and i have been making sure my ovulation is right but nothing yet ... this last time me and husband had sex it was the night befor my egg would be released (it was 1am) and now I'm having cramps on my left side ... what dose that mean? Please and thank you

Cramps can be a sign of ovulation.

Also, a woman's fertile period begins about two weeks after her period starts. Conception is most likely to occur when you have a couple of days before or after you ovulate, not really the day of. Say you ovulate on Wednesday.. try having sex from Sunday to Saturday. It also may take a while: not every fertilization results in implantation.

Good luck, I hope you guys are successful!

you can sometimes get cramps on the side your ovulation is taking place, so it could be that. The egg maybe being released. I found when you start being more in tune with your body and tracking stuff like ovulation, its surprising the little things you notice like twinges.
I hope you get your baby soon, good luck.
