Well first off im 14.

I just measured my penis when errect and it was almost 5 inches. Is that bad?

My main concern is my foreskin. I tired retracking it just now (when i am NOT erect) and i managed to get it just to the bottom of the head. Pulling it back up, however, really hurt. My penis' head is painful to touch, like if you cut yourself and graze of some skin you cant touch the flesh, right? It's like that. I dont want to do it again. Im really worried.

Whats worse is that when i try to retract it when i AM erect, i can't!! I can maybe get it to half way past the head if that, but it's just too tight to do!!

I'm not going to lie. but when i am NOT errect, i am 2.6 inches :-(
Im extremely worried. please tell me i'll be alright - I dont want to have to go to the doctor, or tell my mum, that will be painfuly embarrising.

Please someone reply!!
Hi Hunter,

No, 5 inches is not bad. If you check this site for a chart on sizes you'll see that you're in the average adult range. I expect that it'll continue to grow some more anyways.

It is normal at your age for the foreskin to not retract fully. DO NOT FORCE IT! It seems to take until around age 16 or so for this to happen. Just keep working it. The skin needs to grow and stretch. Erections help so keep on masturbating. If you can get it back when not erect then you are doing just fine.

It is also normal for the head to be VERY sensitive. It has been covered and protected so it will be sensitive. Eventually you'll get used to having it exposed.

There is nothing to be embarrassed or worried about.

Let us know if you have any more questions. Hope this helps.

I totally agree with what medic-dan has posted, and the only thing I can say that I can say to support you in your feelings is to remember that it doesn't matter if you have a large or a small penis anyway. It has little to do with your ability to get a partner so don't let that affect your confidence. If you ever do have problems with your penis, ask your mom to see a doctor but you don't have to specify why. And also remember that doctors see problems like this all the time, so don't sweat it. Does that help?
