They said they swabbed with the cotton swab...
How dry was your nose? Were you having shortness of breath? extremely dry nose? Hard to sleep at night due to dryness?
thanks

I usually am the one reading and barely participate in forums or blogs. But I need to thank you for posting yours even though its over a year old. I have been a sufferer of chronic sinus problems for the last 5 years. I have tried everything I could possibly think of. Being on antibiotics for long periods to antifungals, to non medicated treatments such as nasal strips to nose cones to herbal remedies to netipots saline solutions. Nothing. ENT specialists claim deviated septum and corrective procedures which have an approx 60% success rate. They gave me nasal sprays which worried me due to the rebound congestions. I have been on Sudafed every night for about a year just so I can sleep without waking up gagging. Extensive research finally led me to your post, on tea tree oil. I took the neti pot route. No salt. Just luke warm distilled water and a drop of tea tree oil. IT BURNS.....for about 10 seconds. after doing this once a day, I CAN FINALLY BREATHE for the first time in 5 years. I have my life, my energy and my sleep back. I now use it 3 times a week and it has been a month since it has worked. Haven't had any problems since so far. I just wanted to thank you for your post. Wanted you to know your post has helped someone out there get back their life. Thank you.
amazing!! i just started doing this myself. I have been struggling for the past few YEARS with sinus issues and finally realized it was fungal. tea tree oil is amazing.
Great idea. I have been to 3 ENT Physcians in a very backward health care state w/o ludicrous comments. Knew I was going to have to go alternative. Thank
My name is Erin I used to LIVE on these boards. I knew some day I would come back and help people who suffer with chronic sinus problems and had MULTIPLE sinus surgeries like i did. (I had 4)!! I have created a blog that is doing really well. It's information on how I eat now, what suppliments I am on and what steps I took to recover. I not only had chronic sinus (both fungal and bacterial) but a host of other heath problems probably brought on by both fungus and over 20 years of antibiotics. Please visit my blog and share with anyone who is stuck in the cycle of antibiotics and surgeries. I'd also love to hear your stories. It's a community where we all help each other recover!
