Hello, I'm 14 and I currently started the pill (again) I have problems with the first day of my cycle(period) We first tried broth control a little over a year ago. But I forgot to take it someday so it really messed me up. Around the time I turned 14, my head felt like t was gone, no head aches, but it felt like I couldn't think straight, or like I was unaware, and then this week and the past one, my head started feeling better, thought I still have the feel of not being able to focus of just being unaware, the feeling got cured a tiny bit, but it's still there. Could birth control possibly mess me up like this?
Any drug has the possibility of side effects. With me, I had to try 3 different types of birth control before the right one finally worked with me and didn't make me sick or emotional or have high blood pressure. It's trial and error and sometimes you need to bring it up with your doctor to make sure everything is alright and will be working fine. If you're worried that this particular birth control is 'messing with' your head, then definitely consult your doctor and they might switch you.
