I am a bit embarrassed to be asking this on the internet, but I am even more so to ask my boyfriend. My current boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year now and he is not my first sexual partner. We were doing oral a few weeks ago and I noticed that he doesn't have testicles.... I decided to feel around but he is very ticklish there and I couldn't get very far. I know what balls and penis are supposed to look like and I tried looking around online but can't seem to find anything about this. I just don't see any descended testicles. Is this normal? If not, how do I ask him about this? We both have talked about having children together and he seems all for it like nothing is wrong. (which I assumed he would be very withdrawn from the conversation if he knew he wouldn't be able to produce a child) Thank you in advance for any advice!!
Hi Lucky,

It's possible his testis have not descended.

Sometimes, when guys are very excited, their testis can rise up and the scrotum becomes tighter.  If you don't see them after he ejaculates, or when he is relaxed, then something is different.

Can't say more without an exam.

But we are in our mid 20's.....isn't that kind of late for them not to be descended? And I need advice on how to ask him about it.

What I was trying to say is that MAYBE his testis are just rising up when he gets excited. That is normal. Testicles don't always hang down low like a couple of oranges in a plastic shopping bag.

But now I'm thinking you don't feel them or see them at ANY time. Yes, this is unusual and not a good sign. If they have not descended by now, they are likely not healthy. He may be infertile and will have an increased chance of testicular cancer.

You'll just have to ask him. He may wonder why you're "comparing" him to other men though.

Good luck.
