Maybe Gastroparesis (stomach paralysis). Usually begins in the teens to early 20s. A simple test is done to determine how fast/slowly food leaves the stomach

Did you ever resolve this? I was just recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism as well and I'm nauseous if I don't eat and it's worse if I do eat.

I haven't really ever done something like this so I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I was wondering if any had any idea of what is wrong with me. Some days I feel okay and then there are other days where I'm miserable and it's usually after I eat. I have been miserable, I dread eating and when I do I feel awful. And then I feel like I'm going to throw up so I have to stop eating. I've look at what had been said and nothing really fits what I feel. I've been really tired lately and I've found myself hiding away in my room. Do u have any ideas what it is?

Try the GAPS diet - difficult but worth it

I'm just someone who's been researching my symptoms for a long time & found this - do some research on it - there's a lot of info on the web & You Tube, Pinterest, etc.
It all starts in the gut - that's where a lot of our immunity is...
Good luck!

Hi, my son had similar symptoms after eating - feeling awful, stomach cramps and either constipation or diarrhea. At age 17 he tried going gluten free - avoiding anything with wheat or any other items containing gluten. Within days there was improvement, and within a couple of weeks he felt better in every way. And if he has food with gluten in it, (like deciding to `just have a couple` of cookies), he has the symptoms later that day. So he is now permanently gluten free. You need to read up online about what foods have hidden gluten, there are tons of good sites. But if you want to try it right away without having to do research or search special foods, then just eat any fruits, vegetables, meats (unprocessed and with no breading), and cheeses you would normally like, and until you do your research, avoid bread, pasta, cookies, granola bars, and cereals. Some easy to get, non-specialty grainy-type foods you can eat are Cheerios, rice crackers, and corn tortillas.

Its SIBO! Google it. Take a breath test. See results. Treat. Takes a few weeks - months to get under control.

I am experiencing the same symptoms to the letter but add hot flashes to the point of soaking through clothes, feeling faint, bloating, gas, and increasing lack of appetite. This crazy thing is that it only happens after eating. I am a 40 year old woman.

Always, always insist on blood tests for hormone imbalance BEFORE going on any depression medicine! The doctors insisted on putting my son on anti depressants, but I don’t nsisted on having all his hormones checked first. Turns out his thyroid, testosterone, and estrogen were way off. Also have things like iodine checked, his was way low. Have B12, D3 etc.
It’s strange that doctors do not check anything that makes your body run properly. You have to be a strong advocate for yourself and your family. Also, it’s very important to eat properly and take a very good probiotic. Almost all sickness starts in the gut. Most people eat lots of fast food and it’s loaded with garbage. Pre and probiotics are extremely important!

A lot of people think it’s gluten, but sometimes it’s bromine. Bromine is also found in the same foods as gluten. Almost all commercial breads have bromine, except Pepperidge Farms. My son had the same problem and we thought he had gluten allergies too. He felt much better when he was on a gluten free diet. We had had him checked ( blood test) before he went gluten free and they said he didn’t have a problem, but he always felt better when he was gluten free. I believe that’s because he was not getting the bromine.
