i had an operation for spinal stenosis on july 10/2014 and now almost a month and half later noticing a numbness in balls of feet and toes on both feet ... Has anyone  else experianced this

have same numbness that gets worse when I sit down and it seems to be better when I stand and move around.  Dr says I have spinal mild to moderate stenosis at the L4-5.  My toes feel like they are in wax.  That area has a buldging disc, so I am starting some exercises to see if I can make it better.  Once in a while I get sharp burning down sides of foot.  What kind of surgery did you have.  I had very painful burning 2 nights in a row after a recent scope of my left knee, and wandering what caused this, but I am thinking they moved me around and tweaked that L4-5 area and the buring has stayed with me the last 7 weeks but now only balls of feet to toes.
