I had my gallbladder removed on June 5 and an ERCP done on June 7 after giving birth to my first child a little over 3 weeks prior. I read a book called The Gall Bladeer Survival Guide and went on a Low Fat Paleo diet. On June 17, I started feeling the cramped pain on my upper right abdomen. I was bent over in pain because I needed to find a comfortable position so I could breathe. I did not want to take my oxycodone pain med because my last test showed elevated liver enzymes and I have a blood test in 2 days to test if my numbers are back to normal. I stayed bent over in pain for another 30 mins while eating 2 slices of Trader Joe's gluten free cinnamon raisin bread for breakfast. The pain dulled and I was able to breathe, walk and hold my newborn. I made an appointment for a myofascial release consultation by a Barnes certified massage therapist on Monday, June 19 before my blood test and checkup. I am hoping to find pain relief and my good health without additional medication or surgeries. I will keep you all posted on the outcome. If anyone else has feedback on what they've tried, please share and post. Thanks!
Does anyone follow Paleo Diet? I want to start a protein diet. Just wondering if paleo diet is good?
