i had surgery just over a week ago and i feel like i have a lump in my throat also my voice still sounds very weak the surgeon took biopsys of my other parathyroid glands and nodules he also wants a scan done but as yet dont know what type of scan waiting on an appointment  has anyone else had a scan done after surgery he also said my thyroid is practily exstinct i had a radioactive drink of iodine for an over active thyroid 23 years ago
