Hello, I am 21 years old and my periods usually last 5 days and they are heavy. This time my period came on 20 day of menstrual cycle. I am worried that something might be wrong. I always had it on 30 - 33 days, sometime seven longer but never before. What could be wrong?
Well, your cycle and symptoms are not going to always stay the same. They will change throughout your life because of natural hormonal changes; I experienced more that few changes in my menstrual cycle. They are also affected by stress and illness so you might ask yourself if stress could be the cause for getting you periods after 20 days. But, like I said, it could be normal, just don't panic.
I am 30 and my period lasts about 4 days. They are very painful, I'm exhausted, so I usually spend 2 days in bed. I keep being told by my mom that it will get better as I get older, but it's actually getting worse. My mom's a CNA, so I'm thinking she kinda knows what she is talking about. I am worried about the two days in bed, I have lost jobs because of this, and I found a great job, so it's time to call the doctor to see about something that can make this better so I don't lose my job. She will probably talk to me about birth control, which I don't really need. I am married and my husband can't have children.
What is the cause of a 6 weeks menstrual cycle, and how can it cause manic/depressive like symptoms?
