I have a thin red line just above my upper eyelashes on the lids

I think many of us have a red line somewhere on our eyelids.  It's possible that you scratched yourself and just didn't realize it.  On the other hand you could be allergic to something.  You could try a cream that has an antihistamine in it and see if that makes the line go away and if that's the  case then you are allergic to something.  I have lines on my eyelids and face from time to time because I'm allergic to molecules in the air or i've eaten something I'm allergic to.  For that, I put Noxema on my face and let that soak in and then rinse it off.  Within a day or so my red areas are gone.
