I'm rlly scared I'm almost near crying because I'm a 14 year old girl and I've had my period since the end of July..and it's now October. I'm and rlly skinny and I used to have months off my period. Thinking oh I'm just rlly skinny watever more days off for me. (I don't get the cramps and mood swings) I'm still skinny but yet I've had my period for 4 months straight and still counting..I'm super scared..I'm thinking of wearing a tampon but I heard it hurts when taking it out...so no thanks and I have a heavy flow now I used to just wear panty liners and I'll be good now I'm bleeding through heavy flow pads..my underwears RUINED!! I hate God for doing this to me. WTH is going on with me.. and I haven't told my mom but I always plan too. And I f*****g hate wearing a "diaper" for 4 FREAKING MONTHS STRAIGHT!! (BTW I STARTED MY PERIOD ON FEB 26(NEAR MY BIRTHDAY) 2017) PLS HELP ME IM SCARED!!

My period has lasted for a whole month! I had some lighter days, but not many. What can this be?
I've been on my period since I was 14 nonstop save for the occasional switch from bleeding to spotting (which is still sorta bleeding). I went to my towns gyno and she told me that it was perfectly normal to have an irregular period when youre young.... well at this point I had been on my period for 7 months because my family is not at all open with illness and the like since "ew... weakness" is kinda our motto.
I went back to the doctor because I thought I had a UTI or something and, because they saw blood in my urine cause I was *still* on my period 3 years later, they didnt treat me. Its been another year and I am finally old enough to get myself birth control that will hopefully change things.
Thus far the only thing that has at all helped me has been turmeric capsules... fingers crossed its a hormonal thing that birth control fixes and I dont have to go back to that joke of a doctors office.

Hey, does anyone know anything that would cause you to have a period for over three months straight? I am getting sick of having it and my general physical health has been affected a lot.
