I have been noticing small blood blisters on my scrotum, some are about 1/16 inch to 1/4 inch in diameter. The larger ones are a little sore to the touch and they itch. I first thought I had jock itch so I used a topical creme, that didn't help. My wife had some creme she had gotten for an allergic reaction she had which caused a rash, that did help with the itch. I would like to know what causes these and if I need to have them checked.
Could be herpes blisters. You should get it checked out, so you don't spread it to your wife.

Hi there,
I don’t think that this is caused by some sexual transmitted as previous poster suggested. My guess that this could be a small blood vassal that burst. Have you noticed any that got swollen a bit? It is interesting that allergic cream helped you. But if this is some sort of allergy you should notice more of these bumps all around your pubic area. Do you shave your scrotum? I know that sometimes people shave their pubic area and the side effect from this might be an ingrown hair. Could this be a cause of your problem? My suggestion would be to see a doctor and to get a prescription for antibacterial cream.

Good luck with this.
