I woke up today and saw that there is white stuff like on my penis. It doesn't come off even after washing it. Its just there on the head of my penis and on the skin of my penis. The white stuff is also on my frenulum and a little on the glans. i can only see it once i pull the foreskin. Its not that much but its there. I have no idea what it is. can anyone help me? It doesnt hurt to pull the foreskin either and i can pee fine.
Hi honey! I think this is just Smegma! Which is TOTALLY normal - it is a secretion from the penis that keeps it lubricated! HOWEVER if you do not wash your penis well on a regular basis the Smegma can build up and become almost like grease!

Hi thank you for replying. I was looking stuff up and people kept mentioning SMEGMA but they also mention that it came off after washing it and mine doesn't come off so i was lost. I was thinking bout getting an STD test or get checked out since i couldn't find an answer online. I even looked at picture of STDs (nasty) but none look like what i have so i was relieved but at the same time still confuse since i didn't have an answer. So u really think is just this SMEGMA even though it does not come off after washing it?
Yea last time i had sex was bout 2 weeks ago and this just appeared today. I had unprotected sex but that was about a year ago so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

have you tried washing it with mild soap and warm water?? smegma is a lipid (oil based) substance so it may need some help to break down.

Also if you don't really wash your penis that well the Smega will builed up and then it is harder to get off! STD's aren't usually "residue like" So I really think it is Smega build up! And young man NEVER have unprotected sex again OK?!!! 8-| ;-) XD Also try using baby oil to wipe this off! this should do the trick!

Mild soap....that would be like any kinda soap right? i used the typical soap i buy...its named IRISH SPRING. Ill try baby oil tomorrow since its night and I don't have any with me. Yea i wont have unprotected sex again, it was dumb, sorry. I really hope its just smegma like you guys say.

sounds good... it is realy hard to figure things out without visual aid but it really does sound like smegma. however normally that does come off. can you peel it? try the baby oil like you said and we can go from there. (i would let the oil sit on for a few minutes to help soften it.

i got the baby oil and used it. I let it sit for a couple of mins but It didnt really come off. there's a lil bit less then before. I can't peel it for real. I guess its smegma like you guys are telling me. Ill just keep doing it everyday until it goes away. I hope.

I don't think is Smega! I know this is MAJOR talk here, but do you wash regularly? Also have you been feeling under the weather? Also check out the other areas of you pelvis! I am starting to think this is a yeast infection below is a GRAPHIC picture of yeast infection on a man! Take a good look and think if you have been feeling unwell, or just BLAH! And also take a look at your tongue and the back of your throat! See if there is any "s**m" on it and see if it is similar to the skin on your penis! Also think about if you have been ingesting quite a lot more sugars and starches, alcohol or pop!

I shower everyday since i workout everyday. Only time i can think of when i didn't shower was when i had sex and then had to go to work and when i got home, i went to sleep. So i showered a day later. That was 2 weeks ago. I haven't felt sick at all, just tire but that's since i dont get my regular hours of sleep. The back of my mouth looks normal and not like the picture thank God.

Did i really get a yeast infection...I don't drink pop, just like once every 2 weeks. I stay away from alcohol too. it could be yeas but even that residue i would expect to come off with a shower. i would get it checked out and start applying some antifungal yeast infection cream you can find it at your local pharmacy. it is not skin is it it is an actual residue right?
