Has anyone had severe problems with external hemorrhoids and seen a doctor for treatment of
these? I have had this problem for years because I have IBS and my bowels change daily.
I went to see my primary care doctor and he prescribed Proctosol-HC 2.5% cream but it doesn't
seem to help that much. I wondered if someone else has been prescribed something else they
might recommend that might be better?

Hi there, I don't think that what you were prescribed is all that bad but I think the best thing you could do is tell your doctor it doesn't work all that well to see if he can prescribe you something better. Have you tried that yet?
