Ok heres the problem, i smoked for about 3 yrs and quit because i had alot of coughing problems, its been nearly a year since i quit, and i still cough just as much, and wake up with very bad sinus's every morning, and my throat is always itchy, but thats just the least of my worries, on my right tonsil i have this little bitty lump, probably a little bit smaller than a BB and it just came outa nowhere bout 4 or 5 weeks ago, and its still there, and on my tesicles, there is this little lump also a little bit smaller than a BB, but everything ive read about testicular cancer has been on the actual testicle, where this is on the outside of the sack, and another came up and its a little bit smaller, and there both white and as hard as a rock, i know it aint genital warts or anything like that because im a virgin, im only 16, so yes i was really young when i started smoking and yes it was very stupid, but i really need a doctors opinion, because whenever i say something to my parents about it they just say o its nothin dont worry about it, ittl go away, but i feel that its alot worse than that, if someone could give me an opinion on what it is and what to do that would be great, thanks!
I would address to the scrotal lumps first as I haven’t got the best idea about your throat troubles.
Reading your description about the lumps, I came to the conclusion that these are just pimples or ingrown hairs, nothing else. Usually such pimples on scrotum can be squeezed easily but you should try that since yours are hard and squeezing can only make them bigger and possibly lead to an infection. Leave them like that and they will probably go away eventually, if not you could see a dermatologist to take care of them.

I have to admit that your parent’s attitude is not so good and that you should make it clear to them that you are annoyed by these troubles, that they bother you, prevent you from your activities and that you can’t get it off of your mind and that you would rather have them checked and not wait another year or so for them to disappear. Ask them kindly to help you see an appropriate doctor if you can’t do it on your own. It is always best to know what this could be and only an examination could determine it. The half problem is solved when you know the cause and not having to worry about what it could be.
So, take an adult attitude and talk to your parents telling them that you want it checked and that they are acting very irresponsible. That should shake them a little bit and hopefully make them think.

I hope you get this over with real soon! Good luck!

ok thanks for the advice , but just 1 question, the first little whit lump has been there for almost a year, and the second for about 2 months, if it is a pimple or ingrown hair, can they really last that long?

Good point, they usually don’t but cysts, which I forgot to mention could. The oily glands under the skin that make pimples also create cysts. (to me, they are pretty much the same, if this oily substance has no place to go, it turns into a cyst).

So, scrotum has a large number of these glands. They are called sebaceous. They can get to a size of a marble and they are painless most of the time. Only if they get infected (usually by bacteria), can they become painful.

If they become too bothersome or cosmetically annoying, you could have them removed by draining with a needle or cutting it open but make sure it is done by a professional (urologist, for example), so that they wouldn’t get infected if you start poking.
