I have not had sex with my boyfriend for a week. But I had sex with a guy I met a week ago we used protection the first we had sex. About four five days later we had unprotected which was either Thursday or Friday night. Then I had sex with my boyfriend the Saturday night of the same week. At first my friend used a condom name durex but it was not the sensitivity one that I am use to, I usaualyl get yeast infection after using a condom but the durex sensetvity I did not have a problem with. The durex condom he used that night was greasy and smelled funny. The next day I noticed there was burning at my vagina so I looked and there was a small tear the other day there was a bump at the site of the tear and also a white bump on the labia minora. My partner also told me that there are some water bumps on the head of his penis. Could this be herpes or could both of us had the allergic reaction the same time. Neither of us had any history of herpes. Could the symptoms show up so quick between me having sex with the other guy and my partner, we both have symptoms at the same time and the other guy is ok.
Get tested!

If you develop sores they should appear within a couple of weeks. When they appear, a doctor can take a swab and have it tested.

Even if you don't notice anything unusual, you should still get tested. Herpes is present in many people without symptoms (that's why it's so widely spread). If you have no symptoms, have a blood test done in about 3 months (it'll take a while for antibodies to show up in blood).

From what I've heard, you need to specifically request that the blood sample be screened for Herpes.

There's piles of info online about it. Check out WebMD, or do a search for "Herpes symptoms" if you want more info.

I hope you don't have it!! But you absolutely need to get tested.

Blue: Proper use of condoms *reduces* your chance of contracting an STD, it doesn't eliminate it. Even if the guy had used a condom, she could still contract an STD, especially one like herpes. Condoms are a must,
