A few months back I found out my boyfriend at the time had been cheating on me with a girl who has slept with a massive amount of men. I got to the doctor as quickly as I could for an STI test, and sure enough, I had contracted Chlamydia. I had been experiencing an abnormal amount of discharge, the colour was very concentrated and the was an odd odor and slight itching. The doctor gave me four 250mg tablets of azithromycin. I took the pills with food as told to by my doctor, and about half an hour after I took them I threw up. I went back to the doctors 3 days ago, to get retested because my symptoms had come back, but worse. They explained to me that it was most likely because I had thrown up because the medicine was absorbed into my body, so they gave me the same dose of azithromycin and told me to take a Gravol about half hour before to prevent nausea. I took them right before bed, which is pretty much the best time to take them. I didn't have any symptoms of nausea, but I did have an upset stomach the next day. It's nearly 64 hours since I took the medicine and I'm still experiencing symptoms like a lot of discharge and a lot of itching. I'm supposed to be going back to get tested to make sure it's completely gone in about a week, but I'm just worried that it may not work again. I know that it takes about a week for all symptoms to clear, but I'm just worried as I would just like to move on with my life and get past this STI, and get past the fact that my ex boyfriend is an id**t.
i got a antibiotic shot in my butt and took pills while at doctor is that the single dose treatment ?
POST ABOVE ME I THINK SO I GOT THE SAME i asked my daughter whats the percent of cure on the zithromax and she said it cures 95 out of a 100 of people and the ones it doesn't she prescribes doxcycline. excuse my spelling from past experiences because i caught chlamydia 3 times the one dose treatment didn't work once and that was the 2nd time the third time it did and this time i just went because i was paranoid and had a stinging sensation but not a burning one its been like 8 hours since treatment and pain still there i hope it gets better buy the morning will give it a couple of days before i go see my normal doctor and for ual worried about if you still have it there only one way to know go to a follow up check up. So stop being a chicken weeny or making excuses and go if you ant got insurance planned parent hood!. P.S safe sex gets you out of posting sit on the internet being worried remember this feeling and never have it again.
I took it in the powder form yesterday how long does it takes to work for me im 17 and very scared this never happen to me before
Its been a week since I took my pills, but I still get a lil swelling in throat and upset stomach. maybe I was allergic to the pills.
