i'm 19 years old and for about the past three years or so i have been have tics in my face where i scrunch my face and twitch my nose almost every five minutes or more, i was wondering if i might have a slightly small amount of tourrets.
Touretts can only be diagnosed by a neurologist and you should get one who specializes with this disorder.
Here are some of the symptoms related to Tourette’s:
1. Tics, both motor and vocal must be lasting at least one year.
2. Tic-free periods are less than 3 months
3. Symptoms onset must had been before the age of 18
4. The symptoms cannot be explained by other medical conditions.
5. Tics need to be directly observed.
