Were you masturbating your clitoris (external) or using something fingers, object etc inside your vagina (internal) ? If it was only external, the spotting of blood would probably unrelated to your masturbating and I would go and see a doctor - virgin or not. If it was internal - there could be a range of issues - can you give more information?
