I had to go through oral surgery and it was for my right side canine. It wasn't coming down and they had to take me to surgery. Well...a small one. They gave me numb shots that hurt like hell and finished in 10 minutes. Then, after they finished, they sent me home with gauze and told me that it would be fine in a couple of days. Once I was home, the gauze was ready to come out and be replaced. I took it out and took a peek at what they did. Since I'm 13, I have braces and it was kinda hard to see. But I could still see it. They had cut out about a centimeter wide and length of my gums to reveal my tooth. It was cut out in a jagged shape and looked amateurish. Now, a month later, it has healed and the tooth is exposed and looks ' fine '. The tooth is smoother than it should be and it looks as if they had scraped off the top of the tooth. You know how they're supposed to look full and large? Well, this tooth is as flat as paper. (I think the canine tooth is the one 3rd from the top middle. To you Twilight fans, the fangs) I'm kinda wondering if they did do this sloppy or I'm just seeing wrong. Hopefully the second one. %-)
Hi Roni,
How do you mean flat as paper? Do you mean as thin as paper? Does the tooth hurt? Do you have any pain in your gums?
