I recently had protected sex using a condom. I wore a condom and did not even ejaculate during the sexual act. Is there anything I should be worried about because the anxiety is there? Pregnancy or STD's??
Though I can't speak from experience, I'd s there's nothing to worry about. But I'm like you, I'm anxiously anticipating my first time and I'm terified something will go wrong heh. I think it's psychological more than anything :-)

If you put the condom on correctly, and were within the expiration date on the package, and you didn't ejaculate besides, i wouldn't worry at all.
You were pretty protected from any STD and as with any form of birth control not being 100% safe, i would say you are okay with the pregnancy issue as well.
The only 100% sure fire no pregnancy or STD is abstanance, which i am sure you already know.

If you wait until you are married to have sex, then condom or no condom, no worries. It's legitimate and appropriate. As bbfeet9 says, no birth control is 100% sure except abstinance -- well, you cold get a vasectomy, too.
