what would you do instead?

I'm thinking I'd just give it up and buy a donut shop. If I'm crashing, I'm crashing with frosting and sprinkles and those cheap latte machines. :)

actually I'm torn between biking, kayaking, and surfing, but since I live 90 miles from any decent swells it would be biking or white water kayaking.

decisions decisions - biking wins.
Kayaking, tornado-chasing, or philosopher-king.

Bike
Swim
Hike (there are tons of trails here in AZ)

I just don't have the time I'd like to have with my kids and schedules.

This is too easy, why? cause this is what the Doctors told me back in the early 90's

first i became a computer nerd. my knee pain got worse. i had to use a cane to walk around a lot, i was 24-26 in this time frame. Doctors said the arthritis in my knee would have me in a cane by mid 30's but running would increase the rate of damage.

i picked up inline skating and never stopped. developed my quads to the point i can actually do a little bit of running again.

if i can't use my legs at all? I'm going into wheel-chair racing then. looking forward to a new challenge.
