Frieberg's caused a fall where both feet were broken. One foot is much worse than the other. All the metal plates and rods were revoved Feb 09, the majority of problem remaining now is Freibergs and some nerve damage that I'M Treating with nerve blocks. Debridement is an option. Is the operation laproscoptic? Are the incisions on the top or on the foot's bottom? My gait is off, I need to work on that. The surgerys I had (two for severe infection and weeks on a wound vac). I have a hx of plantar fascitis and have lately been told how terribly flat the feet are. Since my skin has been stretched to the max by 4 surgeries, I'm not sure how the surgeries would be closed? The skin on the foot is tight, and I don't think it could help more open wounds thrown in the mix. But this Freibergs Disease has got to go! An insight will be helpful.
Hi SUe, my understanding is that the surgery ould be laproscopic although I think it depends on where they're going after the bones. Have you spoken to your surgeon about it? I think that would help you gain a little extra insight. What do you think?
