ive been on soboxon for 2 years taking 24 mill a day. im down to 4 mill a day. im having trouble sleeping and my body feels weird at night, im sweating etc. should i just stop the soboxon and deal with it? what should i expect .
comming from a person who spent a good 4 years on those things berfore i decided to try and get sober (for the 1st time) i can tell you that 4 mil a day is still alot. i find it odd that you are feeling so shitty maybe you were weaned off it too fast? this is the way i always get on/off sobox. i go on a bender, a stock up on sobox, if im doing rougly two oc 80's a day then maybe for the first week il take a whole one (maybe more depending on how bad i detox) per day for the first week then cut it down gradually. Id say if you have enough supply, the best way to do it is to take a couple months of weening yourself down. Just take a little less each time you do it. So say if youre used to taking a half at a time, take maybe a little more than a quarter. then take only a courter, then half a courter and keep goin down each week till u hit .5 mil. after your on such a small ammount of sobox the withdrawls will be soooo much more manageable i promise! be strong.
Here is my husbands story that might give you some input on getting off soboxone. My husband has been on Soboxone for 4 years and seeing a doctor. It has been getting too expensive plus having to drive one hour and take off work to go see him and wait another two hours in the office became too much for my husband. His doctor cut him dow from 3 pills a day to two last year . My husband just decided to not go to the doctor anymore and detox himself with the rest and went down to one pill a day until now he has 9 nine days without the soboxone. I read that Soboxone alone can be addicting, so that is another reason my husband decided to detox himself. It has been hard for him , no energy, restless, cant sleep maybe three hours had diarrehea. I have him on the vitamins that he needs to detox like calcium, multi vitamin, b12 1000 mg, l-tyrosine supplement and vitamin c 1000 mg. I have been doing my research to get my husband through this. Last night for the first night he has been able to sleep better, and went to work. ....
