how would you handle, from a medical standpoint, a patient that has gluteal implants when an order is given to administer an IM gluteal injection, without damaging the implant. (i realize you COULD split it up into two and administer in the deltoid.)
From a medical standpoint i would recognise the importance of not using the buttock for IM and go antero lat of arm or thigh.... no risk of splitting it then
