i went to the dr on thursday my hCG level was good dr said but he was worried about my progesterone so he put me on prometrium. when i went to the dont i was spotting a little bit with no cramps he said everything looked good that the spotting was coming form my cervic cause they was imflammed but today after takes one dose of the prometruim i have started cramping a little bit and was wondering if i should be worried or do i need to go to the dr please help anyone that can

It seems that cramping is a common side effect of progesterone. Do you have any other symptoms like headaches, sore breasts or similar.
I was taking it to induce my periods and I also had abdominal pain, and even felt dizzy one day but my sister was nauseous for a week. However, the symptoms subsided after a week.
Maybe your dosage is too big. Considering a doc told you everything was ok, maybe you should wait a day or two to see if anything changes. If you still think that the cramping is weird or that something may be wrong, then you should call your doc and see if it is the dosage or something else.

I wanted to let you know that Im currently pregnant and on Prometrium also. My last pregnancy with my daughter I had to be on it also cause my progesterone levels were low. I have cramping right now which is suppoe to be from your uterus and stuff growing. I remm in my last pregnancy having cramping. It is common as long as its not really painful and u dont have bright red blood. I hope this helps. btw im in my 6th wk i dont know how far u are
