Let me tell you, without a prenuptial, even if he did buy the house with a settlement, it doesn't matter. You're just as entitled to a slice of the house as he is. I think you're in a good position and this divorce is gonna go great for you. :-) Keep us posted!

There's a thin line between love and hate. Sounds to me like he got you to cross it, and now he's gonna regret it. It's like I'm being there for my mom's divorce except now I'm old enough to understand what's going on and cheer for the good gal. :)

Hey Beeb, I saw your post on another topic that showed up this morning. Did you find out what a Fleshlight is?
Why don't you buy one and send it to him? :-S

Ya know, there had to have been something that i loved about him at one time other wise i would never have married the freak of nature.

Thru the years i was able to see the nasty and vindictive side of him, he could tell a lie and stare you right in the eyes while doing it.

I would watch him steam roll people and think to myself that this is how he conducts his business. He has owned his Company for 30 years but has made a ton of enemies along the way. I would watch him threaten people, and thought where is the gentle soul that i fell in love with. His temper is explosive and he will not hesitate to jump into ones face. But, he can control it perfectly when he wants something. He is a salesman, this goes along with his job. He can shmooze the panties off a nun if he wanted. But then when he's got ya, he morphs into something that i did not care for at all.

I had to talk to him last night about one of the vehicles, the sound of his voice makes my skin crawl. He has not gotten the letter from the attorney yet, and if he did, he is trying to sit on his anger, for now.

I am hearing that he is moving money around and putting some of his assets into his brothers name, that's okay as it will all be uncovered in due time. He is trying to pull a fast one i think.

But for now, all is quiet, but i can hear the ticking of the time bomb in the distance.

I knew it! I just knew it! I knew it as soon as I clicked away from it, I should have bookmarked it. I think the original post was back in March.

It was from a young man who was using one and left the soft insert from it in the bathroom to dry after cleaning it. He forgot it and his father found it and threw it away. You asked what it was. Someone replied to his post last night so it was on the list of "posts since my last visit" this morning. I think you were the first or second one to reply ---- "what's a fleshlight?"

It's a thing that looks like a flashlight with the light missing. It has a soft insert that's supposed to feel like a vagina. I bet you can guess what it's used for. If you Google it, you will find it. Adam & Eve dot com has them. The kid must have had more money than I did at his age. Look at the price and the stuff you have to buy to go with it!!!!!!!!!!

I think you may be my neighbor, Beeb.

He has a big house with a pool and a barn that he made into an apartment for his daughter.

He was on the list of contractors the gas company supplied when I was looking for a new furnace in 2002. His estimate was about the same as another one I already had and he IS my neighbor. After he gave me the estimate he mentioned a new system he was selling that came from Canada that was supposed to be even more efficient. It cost a little more because he had to install all new ducts. He tore out my old ductwork and installed the new system. The first problem was it didn't cool my house sufficiently and I had to put my window units back in. His answer was that it was my fault. It was computer designed to do my house in the area where I live and I just had to get used to it being the way the computer says is correct. That winter the heating part wouldn't keep my house warm enough and it took me two years to get him to do anything about that. He was soooo smooth. He would come over to check it as soon as I called and when he left each time I really believed he was going to fix it. He was/is a silver tongued devil.

Eventually when I was really pushing him, he said I could take him to court and he would agree with me that the system he put in didn't work, but all I would get was about a thousand bucks because that's all the money his LLC company has. But he would GIVE me a regular furnace and hook it up to new ductwork to replace what he had torn out and when he sold the system that didn't work he would add the AC to it.

He finally put a regular furnace in the cellar and hooked it up using flexible hoses. No new ductwork to replace what he destroyed. So he got $8000 from me for what was supposed to be a state of the art HVAC system and I have a $400 furnace blowing into inferior duct work and NO AC. His attitude is that he has given me more than he owes me because he supplied a full heating and AC system plus an extra furnace. So he lost money.

The BBB said "tough sh*t" I didn't complain within a year of the original installation. He was still promising to make it work two years after the installation ---- and the dummy was still believing him. The consumer protection division of the state attorney generals office said "get your own lawyer". The lawyers I called wanted more than I lost, for their fees, up front! The state plumbers licensing board said "we don't investigate complaints". Apparently trade licensing is nothing more than a means of adding money to the states coffers by selling licenses.

Wouldn't it be nice if the motor vehicle department felt that way?

So he got away with it and I now have a worse system than the 50 year old furnace I used to have before I handed him $8000.

He is usually good about going back to fix stuff or he will send one of his employees, but sometimes he does work for a customer that really doesn't need to be done.

He does NOT have a plumbing license but has been doing "extensive" plumbing as well as underground work for a very long time. I'm just wondering if i can get him the yougurt for that???

The yougurt?

Splain it to me Lucy.

ok Ricky, i'll splain it to you. Yogurt is just a polite word for s**t ;-)

Yay, i love Lucy :-D :-D :-D

I see, I see.

I don't know about ratting him out. Sometimes those things can backfire on you but it might be worth asking your attorney.

Lucy was the greatest. I think her best work was after she and Desi split. I'm amazed at some of the physical comedy she did in her later years. I loved those later shows. I wonder why we never see those in reruns.
