I had an ingrown nail until yesterday since I had it removed.
Here's my problem.
Half of my nail (cut vertically) has been removed... will I be able to go snowboarding in January? Snowboarding is my passion and I would be really (REALLY) pissed off if I couldn't ride >;) . Will the pain atleast be gone (well I'm on codein, so what I'm really trying to say is Will it be healed / scarred...) by late December? Like, in a month?
Thanks,
Bloodworks

I think you'll be able to go riding in January. I found that you should only refrain from running or vigorous exercise for two weeks after the surgery. Teenagers should not participate in physical education activities for one to two weeks after the procedure. So just be extra careful in December, let it heal properly, so you can enjoy snowboarding in January. Have fun!
