I have this too. It was worse when I was using Bausch & Lomb 'comfort drops': for semi permeable contacts. I stopped using it and it was way better about a year ago. Now its back. I tried Soft contacts, but they seen to not breath enough.
You are sensitive to gluten.
I have a persistent itch on the bridge of ny nose and in the corners of my eye socket. It seems different than seasonal allergic eye itches, more like a skin issue. Over the years I have developed small hard white cysts or pimples in the corner of my eyes, perhaps related.
I have had allergy eyes my whole life and you are correct when you say this is different. This itching is so intense. I wonder if we are having internal hives under the bridge of our noses but just can't see it. Just an idea...Do any of us color our hair? Do any of us use a nose rinse?
i have the same thing, red rash across my nose, bumps on both sides, red, runny eyes. I have read some articles and i think it may be an allergy to the metals or plastic in eye glasses. Didn't know they sell hyperallergenic eye glass frames. Going to look into it.
I have had same problem for years. Similar an allergy eye drops seem to help. 3-4 drops, Rubinho eyes gently and over nose bridge and eyelids. Helps reduce itching.
I have found that various tomato products, recipes and citrus fruits especially oranges can aggravate the itching. Doing a netti pot also helps itching. Recommend XClear netti pot used with distilled water, sea salt and xilitol. Hope this helps. I'm still looking for answers.

Try clear nail varnish on the metal that goes over your nose, i have this problem its the metal irritating my skin
I have it, but only on one side, and I don't wear glasses
Reactions to tomato and citrus could be an allergy to Balsam of Peru. If you are not familiar with Balsam of Peru, it is in almost everything. Even though the list of foods is very long, most people react to only a few of them.
I believed I was reacting to the pads on my glasses and when I wend to plastic glasses, I still reacted. I haven't worn glasses for two years now and the intense itching is still there. I now believe it is the weight of the glasses pressing on the bridge of the nose that just makes it worse. My hives across the bridge of my nose and in the center corners of my eyes have always been internal. Now, after six years of this, they are starting to show externally. :-(
I take thyroid meds have had this since a change of meds were recommended a few years back, this was after the international thyroid issue mainly in the fillers used. I also have this issue of intense itching on the bridge of my nose. I am aware of that it has been the medication But have no alternatives, have tried all brands. Also developed allergies to raw fruit and veg.
I have tried eating vegan for the past three months in hopes this healthy, natural diet would reduce the itchy eyes and bridge of nose, along with my swollen lower lip. It did not help. It made these symptoms much worse. The comment about the previous guest's allergies to raw fruits and vegetables was very helpful. So I did some searching on the internet to learn about OAS (pollen-food syndrome). I have stopped eating raw fruits and vegetables. Let's see what happens. I am already allergic to tomatoes and if I touch a raw tomato, it seems to increase the intense itching on the bridge of my nose and corners of my eyes. Thanks for the post!
I've had this problem for years with no help from doctor's and I've seen many, the only thing that releaves the itch is washing my face with dial gold liquid soap with cool water then dry and apply Walmart brand equate extra strength anti itch cream in the blue tube,it sounds odd but I've spent thousands on trying to solve this problem and this works,it doesn't solve the problem but it will give you relief...good luck.
I have the exact same problem doctors can guess but don't know I hate to be falsely medicated and not know the reason for the abnormal itching I am wondering if we all may have an allergy that's unseen Like I'm wondering if we may have some mold spores in th air in the house. I had to get a new roof and we had a few leaks. Especially want to note that it starts after spending a substantial amount of time in the house. If our immune system is strong it's not as bad if it's weekend it could be worse. Just a thought that might be a common factor that would give us an answer.
By the way, I did just find out I have a severe allergic reaction to tomatoes but don't have a good link for that due to my not eating them

As for the tomatoes, my allergist did a blood text for about twenty foods and I only tested positive for being allergic to tomatoes. I have gone 18 months without anything tomato, and it has not made a single difference with my itchy inner eyes and bridge of nose. I met with the same doctor two days ago and after mentioning no change with tomatoes after a year and a half of not eating them, he stated that those blood tests give false positives about half the time. He forget to mention that to me the first time. That afternoon I went out and had a bowl of tomato bisque soup. It tasted wonderful. That was two days ago and there has been no change with my itching.
