When I read your post it sounds like you're going through a lot of anxiety right now. I think that the ablation itself will go fine, but maybe you are not mentally ready to go through the surgery yet? If I were you, it might be a good idea to reach out to a few friends and talk it over with them so that you feel more assured of your decision. Either way you decide, I'm sure that you will make the right choice! Good luck to you, and please keep us posted on your results.

Hi:
It sounds like you need to talk it over with your husband too. The surgery is minor, however, I am sure that you are aware of the results. Have you had the children that you want, and you don't want anymore? Does your husband want more children. I had the surgery, which does decrease your chance of pregnancy. However, my current ob/gyn said that my surgery was NOT successful, meaning that I am still fertile. It was in my mind, because my periods continue to be very lite, and I had the surgery for the same reasons that you will. If you are both comfortable, do it. I'm not sure that anyone is ever 100% sure, just because of so called fear of the unknown. However, don't leave your husband out of this decision. Good luck.
