I am a registered nurse, and besides a huge mole next to my right eye am pretty damn good lookin (at least I would say so). Im desperate to get rid of the little f****r! I just applied dermatend to it 15 minutes ago...  From what I read a little skin discoloration is a plus to basically the only self esteem blocker I have... I will post the end result for people worried about facial application

furthermore I saw several posting of people warning about skin cancer before application... Moles if not cancerous should have rounded edges, with even colloration... If you have a mole with jagged edges or are discolored please have them looked at by a dermatologist before trying any home remedies...

Dermtend seems to work as it said to work. A year and a half ago I had a mole removed from my face it was next to my nose but more on my cheek it was round very dark brown and no bigger than a pencil eraser I'm almost 20 now and my whole life I despised this mole just because I had 9 others on my face that we're tiny so the big one bothered me the most I had it shaved long with one other above my brow it was small but raised they we're the only raised moles on my face. The big mole took forever to heal and I was left witha bigger scar and a little bi t of brownish behind the one above my eye brow grew back. I have to wear make up everyday to cover the ugly scar I have by my cheek I live in miami and I never go to the beach cause I don't want my mole scar to get darker or I can't go in the ocean cause I'm afraid my make up will come off. Its very sad and stressful I recently saw ads of dermatend and figured giving it a try. I have bought plenty of lotions from clinique to olay to coco butter and other "evening tone creams" or the biggest scam was meladerm a bleaching cream. When I received the dermatend I didn't wana apply it on my face I was scared so I tried it on a small semi raised mole on my shoulder followed the steps of dermatend and after 4 days of having the scab it fell and I didn't have a mole I have a red spott yes but I don't have the mole so in my honest opinion dermatend does work. I applied it on the big mole I had the shaving done on and so far I still have the scab its only been 2 days I hope too see good results

I had the same concerns when I first saw this product on the SkyMall Magazine.  I did a bit of research online and read other people's comments.  Mostly were positive with a few not so satisfied user of course.  I finally decided to try it and the results were promising.  I am on my 2nd bottle.

Keep in mind that not all moles are created equal.  Some are flat while others are little mounds.  the flat ones came off in just one application while the round mounds took 2 applications.  Still there are those that are just darn stubborn although it did reduce the size and will require additional work. (Have befor and after photos but too embarassed to post them).

To make a long story short I have succesfully removed a total of 6 facial moles in September-October of 2011 (nothing grew back). Three 1/4 cm wide flat moles on my forehead and temple; One 1/4 cm dark flat mole near the jaw that was rough to the touch - now this area is as smooth as the rest of my face, One tiny tag right below my left eye where the eye bag is, and One flat mole on top of an age spot. Working on applying dark spot correction diligently now.

So what's left?  Two 1/8 cm wide dark moles (reduced from 1/4 cm after two applications). Waited this long not beause of any flaw in the product but because I wanted to see what the long term result would be.  Glad to report that all is as what the product claimed it would do.  I am embarking on continuing my goal of getting these darn stubborn moles out.

My advice:  Follow the directions.  Be careful and apply Dermatend on the mole only.  Make sure the mole is scratched enough so it stings a bit when Dermatend is applied - otherwise it won't work.

Happy excavating!

Dermatend DOES work, and is indeed an alternative if you don't want surgery, assuming certain precautions are taken (follow the instructions!). However, there is still a risk of scarring, so use first on a less-exposed mole. Don't pick! And keep covered from sunlight until fully healed.

LOL Could they have meant to type black salves?

FYI moles removed by dermatoligist can grow back as well and also leave a scar.

Just FYI...If you go to the dermatologist to have a mole removed it can also grow back. They tell you that in the office. There is no miracle removal for moles in or out of a dermatologists office. Dermatend is just a cheaper alternative.

Does anyone know if it works on raised moles that are flesh coloured? And can you use on flat dark moles?

Even when having a mole surgically removed it is still likely to come back.

Hi,
I used dermatend on over ten moles, couple on my arm and a lot more one my face... And although the moles ARE GONE, the ''redness'' of the skin is not. So basically instead of moles on my face, now I have red dots, and that is so FRUSTRATING!!!

Also I have read that the redness of the skin will fade in time, but I'm starting to seriously doubt that...
And the only reason for that is TIME. It has been more than 2 months since I've used dermatend, but the redness is NOT fading away, even though the Dermatend website said that it will fade in 30 days... I know some people heal quicker while others don't,and  its different for every person , but still...

The thing that I'm worried about is the fact, that in first 2-3 weeks after applying Dermatend, there was a visible progress of skin, and the skin was healing, but since then ( for the last month ) it seems that the skin healing process has stoped, and its not healing anymore.

I tried numerous skin products, all the way from Aloe,Vitamin E to products for scars and burns, but nothing seems to help.

Dermatend SO FAR has been the worst decision I have made, it was easier living with moles than with red dots...

So, if anyone has gone through this, PLEASE let me know, I would very much aprecciate it tou here your opinion...

Please help!!!
Thanks in advance...

George

I have the same problem its been about 5 months for me, but they are fading but slowly. They say u need patience which is true. I removed one from my arm 5 yrs ago n it took over a year to fade. U would have the same problem if a derm removed it but probably end up with a bigger scar.the worst part is waiting. My scar from 5 yrs ago Is only visible if I told u where it was. If your in a rush u cn try ScarAway u cn get it at walgreens, they are silicon sheets that'll speed up the process a little bit(I use them)

Thank you for your post Mike!

I hope you are right, and I hope it will heal eventually.
I just didn't think it would take as long...

Once again, thank you very much!

All the best.

No problem George. One reason it might take awhile is if you do alot at the same, your body is trying to heal them all so it will slow the process down. I do tattoos n got 3 in the same week. It took alot longer to heal compared to just getting one. That might be something to consider too.
