Hi. I’m 19 and I’ve noticed that my semen is sometimes clumpy or gelatinous. Is this normal? Should I see the doc?? Should I worry about this??
No, man, you don’t have to worry at all. There are many components in the semen that look like that. It is very common, especially for younger lads like yourself, to experience different semen quantity, color, etc…. Also, you will notice that sometimes your semen is more waterish than it normally is, etc…. Nothing of this should you worry about because it's all normal and does not affect your fertility. Take care.
I have to agree, you have a perfectly healthy semen and not all guys have the same structure, smell and color of the semen, you need to know that. when you take a look at the bigger picture, healthy, semen is considered that it has a white color. But you need to know that colors range from a transparent white color to an opaque white or a light gray and even a pale yellow tint and this all has to do something with hormonal changes. Also, a level of sexual activity plays a huge role, And what about the foods and drinks that you are consuming? This also can cause your semen to be different than usually.
Apparently this is normal and if you hydrate yourself more it may bring more consistency to your discharge.
Hi stuckert,
I have to agree here with becki here, there is nothing wrong with your semen. The only thing that can be wrong if your semen was different before you noticed that it was gelatinous. Was it different in any way? How old are? If you are just going through you puberty you will notice many changes in your body, especially in you pubic area. And this doesn’t only concern the semen it also affects the pubic hair, scrotum size and penile size. These are all normal things that should not be frightening. In my opinion there is no need to visit a doctor. If you notice any pain or other abnormalities then it would be advised to see a doctor

I'm scared that if I get a a blowjob and the girl swallows she will choke, should I sadly avoid blow jobs?
Everyone should know the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR. Because you never know...
Hello, I am 15 and have noticed this aswell the past 2 times I have ejactulated that it was very gel like and there was some pain with it as well. I am very concerned that this is a problem, so if anyone could give me some insight on what could be causing this I'd be very thankful.
Normal healthy sperm can come in a lot of different colors, thickness, quantity, and all other measurements. Semen tends to be thicker or gel like more in young men and more watery in older men. Shooting a lot of semen out recently will make it less thick, smaller quantity, less colored, less intense feeling as you shoot, and in fewer squirts than if you don t ejaculate for a longer time before cumming. Even the thickest gel semen will melt into less white and more watery semen within 30 minutes after ejaculation. This is normal. Being white to yellow to gray to clear colored is all normal. Different men have different semen and even one man will shoot different semen at different times and its still normal and common.
Unless you are busy trying to impregnate women with your sperm right now, most guys worry for nothing about semen and sperm being shot out only for fun sex, not to make babies.
