Me and my friend ride our bikes all the time, but since the winter it has only been on and off, but when we do ride(train for the summer) we do around 14 miles in 1 gear. The question I have is is this healthy, or should we slow down a bit until the weather gets nice and then ride every day?
Any exercise is better than none.

Just be sure to warm up well and do some stretches before starting to prevent injuries.
